Health Career Institute (Wilsonville)
and Springfield Campus
The Practical Nursing program is designed to
prepare the graduate for an entry-level position in a variety
of work settings. The program emphasizes the development of
clinical skills to train students for the position of a licensed
practical nurse. Students learn not only in the classroom,
but also in a laboratory which simulates the facilities, equipment,
and records found in both the clinical and administrative
areas of ambulatory care centers. Upon completion of this
program, they will be able to care for the sick, injured,
convalescent, and disabled under the direction of physicians
and registered nurses. Pioneer Pacific College offers NCLEX-PN
preparation as part of the curriculum.
